![]() Tried running xtu again but it still did not work. I attempted to manually install these drivers with the inf file which includes the needed sys file using pnputil which prints a message that driver packages have been added. After installation of xtu, copies of these drivers are located in the xtu installation folder in program files. Based on Intel's xtu release note documentation on the site and using driver store explorer, I determined that all the drivers included in the utility were present except for one, IOCBios device driver version 6.5.1.7. Once I got it to install I ran it but it was unable to start because the needed drivers are not present. I know you can use task scheduler to make settings persist and I'm wasting time and energy but I'm stubborn and I'm trying to make XTU work.įirst of all, xtu will normally not install since it's an unsupported platform but I disabled the platform check to force it to install. ![]() I know you can use throttlestop and I've used it before but I prefer XTU because imo it's a cleaner implementation and settings persist unlike throttlestop. Just recently got a notebook with a 1035G1 cpu. ![]()
